I recently joined this forum and thought I would share with you a picture of three of my Koi Angels. The two in the foreground are males and the one in the background is a female. The male on the left and the female are a breeding pare. Hope you like them.
I've had the male on the right for around 2 years. The male on left is one of his offspring and is around 1 year old. I've had the female for around 6 months.
How many gallons is the tank, have you noticed any aggression when one of the males and the female are pairing off and spawning? If so how did you curb it so they didn't damage the other fish and other angels?
They are in a 66g heavily planted tank with lots of hiding places that other fish can use to escape any aggression when they are spawning. Usually this works O.K but occassionally I have had to move the breeding pair to another tank to give their tankmates a rest.
