Came home today, to give my tank a quick clean, and i noticed my female angel was chasing fish, i wasnt sure why. anyway i fed my fish a few flakes, but the female wasnt eating  then just as i was about to move the magnetic glass cleaner i realised that it was covered in eggs  :hyper:

I'm now not sure what to do because the female is chasing away the male and any other fish that go near the eggs. i thought both parents look after them ?

anyway i have a small 5gallon tank up and running ready for the babies when they hatch.

Any advice would be great, as this is the 1st of 3 batchs of eggs that hasnt turned yellow or has not been eaten :D

Im so excited :p

ok cool....if they havent turned yellow/white then leave them to it,,,,,once theyve hatched they should chew the eggs in mouth to relase fry,,,,,i left my in the tank with parents,,,but once they hatched until free swimming all was fine,,now i can home yesterday to find only about 50 fry left from about 200,,,dad was hiding in corner and mum went for him every time he showed his face<iam thinking dad had a good lunch,,,,i caught the remaining in a large net and left them in tank in that but had more deaths to down to around 20,,,,,,
so if you can once there free swimming remove them into the other tank<with same tank water> and make sure you feed them brine shrimp, as i have been feeding liquid fry food and dont think there eating eat....good luck...heres whats possible
