Kits's First Tank :d

did a test on saturday the ammonia dropped to .25 so i added more ammonia in, i forgot to check the next day so yea but today im gonna check after school to check for ammonia nitrites and nitrates

Most fish medifications contain a pipette / dropper. Its worth having a couple in case of emergencies and that way you won't be adding ammonia with a bloody great spoon, which is not exactly the most accurate instrument

:good:

ps please read "how to take great photos of your fish" article in my sig. Useful stuff about resizing photos in there.

Nope, you're only 5 days in and we wouldn't expect anything to change. The A-Bacs are microscopic. They are eating the ammonia and multiplying but its all still to small to detect.

alright well pretty much nothing has changed im just curious as to why the ammonia dropped on like the third day
