Today I bought 2 kissing Gouramis from fish store. I prepared my aquarium from last week so water and Ph must be suitable to them. My tank temperature is around 27/28C and i have standard filter and sufficient rocks at bottom with fake plants. After releasing the gouramis into my tank i discovered they are just sitting at the bottom not willing to swim much and not eating as well too. I have sinking food recommended by fish store.
At this moment what should I do?
Please advise
Thanks

What size is your tank and what fish are in there atm?

How did you do this?

This is normal. It is caused by stress. It is often recommended you turn the lights off & don't feed the fish for 24hrs after introducing them.

These are bottom dwellers, therefore sinking pellets aren't suitable for them. Sure, they may nibble them for a little. But the ideal diet is flake/small pellets with occasional feedings of frozen/live food
