Kissing Gourami.

Okay just been to my LFS and seen a number of large kissing gouramis, they were about 3-4inches... Was very tempted to buy them as they look fantastic.

Main problem that arose was that I didn't have a large enough fish tank, I own a 125L tank and was worried they may outgrow it?

I was looking to buy 2, at £9 each.

Definitely need a bigger tank - I have 2, one came with my first 3ft/100l tank she is about 5" and has not grown despite being upgraded into my 6ft tank. The other I bought before I knew better to keep her company, he was about 1.5" and is now 6" and growing.

Conclusion - first fish stunted by small tank. second fish health and growing well as not stuck in too small tank.

They can reach 12" but more likely 8" in aquarium. Lovely fish though.

Okay, well that sucks... Moonlight Gouarmis appealed to me too. But I'm guessing its the same principle? Too big...

not as big but too big yes.

have a look at thick lipped gourami they are lovely fish and the right size.
