any one any idea about that i canlt seem to find much, and have never seen them for sale anywhere

many people got experiaenc of keeping them?

Theyre not very common in fish shops. I ended up getting all of mine via Aquabid. Most are best kept in a species only tank. Some can be fairly territorial for little guys. They are usually sold in pairs. Keep in mind, with some species, you most likely would not be able to keep more than a pair or a male and a few females. (I learned this the hard way). Go and visit the American Killifish Associations Website. They have great beginners articles. They will help you decide what you like and can keep. Then you can begin your search for breeders. The site will also lead you to some breeders.

Hi OTP,
I've been keeping Killifish for around twenty five years or so.( Member of AKA & BKA) What exactly do you wish to know. Are you trying to set up a breeding program or just wanting to keep some in a community tank. Be a bit more specific and I can possibly help you. What species are you interested in.

well no names really as i don't know, i just like the look of some i will go the the american kilifish site and then get back to you via pm if you don't mind/

If you want a list of so called Beginners Killifish then consider these options.
Aphyosemion Australe (Chocolate or Orange)
Aphyosemion Striatum
Epiplatys Dageti Monroviae.
Fundulopanchax gardneri nigerianum ( various locations)
Jordanella Floridae (likes harder water and a bit of salt)
Sadly I only have fry at the moment. and they won't be ready until July/August.
Try to steer clear of Aplochelius Lineatus (normal and gold varieties) they look nice in the dealers tanks but can grow quite large and boisterious.

I await your findings on the AKA site.
Regards
BigC
