Killifish?

ok this is really odd.....this morning came down and found my killifish that i got yesterday on the floor? how the hell did it get out of the 350 litre tank? lol?

at the far back theres a slight cut where a protein skimmer used to be but its really tiny!

im so confused to how he got out of the tank

Killifish are known for jumping, they get out of any gap.

The first lesson in killifish husbandry has been learnt albeit once again....the hard way.
I can relate totally to you plight as I have lost fish in the early days.
Next time plug all the holes even the smallest ones (cable slots) with filter floss. Floating plants such as Salvinia also seems to curb this trend somewhat.
