Hey,

Went to LFS earlier to buy some wood and had a scan of the tanks, noticed these beautiful fish :hyper: (Aphyosemion ogoense ogoense - Broken-line Killifish).
My question is, do you think that a pair of these would be too much for my 30L Planted tank? I have done some research and the average reccomended size is about 28L minimum.

What do you guys think?

Thanks, Matty

I would think they would be fine in a tank that size, as long as water changes are regular, as they won't want a powerful filter creating strong currents.

Although I'm not familiar with this species specifically, I would imagine it to be better to get 2 females, and no more than 1 male. This will probably be tricky though, as I know of aquarium shops wanting to sell killifish in pairs.

What other species are you keeping in your tank.
