Khuli Loaches...

They are absolutely mad...

Hadn't seen my khuli loaches since I put them in about a month ago, then today they all decided to go mad! I have 3 of them zooming up and down the tank, going on spiral swims, and resting on plants every now and then when they look tired! They've even been imitating the corydoras and shopoting up to the top for a breath of air then shooting back down again.

Is it a full moon or something?! It's fantastic watching them though - definately one of my favourite fish!

I think it can take some time from them to get use to their new environment. All of my kuhlis are quite active, more so my black ones than my regular ones. When I added my first four kuhlis about eight months ago, they hid for the first two weeks. Now I always see atleast two or three zipping around my tank at any given time (I believe I have eight now). I think as long as they have enough hiding places to feel secure, and are with the right tankmates, they are very active and entertaining fish. Enjoy them.
