Khlui Loach

hi everybody.

i have a 96 litre tank with 5 lemon tetras and 6 cherry barbs in it, so i have a half stocked tank (50cm). I am fancying 3 khuli loaches and was wondering because they live on the bottom of the tank would they affect my stocking levels much? if i did'nt get any other bottom living fish would they still affect my stocking levels. They will be about 30cm fully grown so my tank will have 80cm of fish out of a maximum 100cm, but if they live on the bottom they shouldn't take up as much space should they? - will this then allow me to get more fish

Hope your ref to 30cm long applies to all 3 together.....Otherwise we're talking "Khluis'" here and not Kuhlis'...... Naw!!... IMO I don't think the Kuhlis will really impact to your square inch per surface area to that extent..... Get 'em and then some.... Just be selective with the other 2 x 15mm fish you'll still have space for...
