hi i av a 66g uk tank with a parrot and keyhole are keyhoes best in pairs or groups

They're monogomous fish, but because of their small and peaceful nature you would be able to keep a few of pairs in that tank, if they were the only cichlids.

blood parrots can be all over the board as far as aggression goes, but I'd be nervous about mixing shy little keyholes with the big, possibly aggressive blood parrot. They're generally not good candidates for cichlid mixed tanks.

agreed with FreddyK, why not take the parrot back for saftey precautions and get a few more pairs of keyholes and you can build up a very nice community tank from there :)

I also agree with the above statements :D Keyholes are shy peaceful cichlids that do not fare well with aggressive tank mates. They are however great additions to any peaceful community and once they form pairs they are almost inseperable. I'd go with the keyholes....you wont regret it.
