Ok, so i bought a couple of keyhole cichlids today, i just wondered if anyone has any advice regarding them? diet, prefered habitat etc.

They are sharing the tank with a bristlenose (think its a female although still young) and three honey gouramis. All seems well so far.

I don't know about the specific gourami species but I have been told they can be little bastards in regards to aggression. The keyholes are very peaceful arn't good with alot of aggression. If you see the gourami's picking on them, they I would recommend separating the fish.

For feeding, a good cichlid pellet is all you really need, but supplimenting with mysis (when young) and krill, along with veggies like peas is great :good:
