My male an female are been really protective of my castle won't let no other fish swim by it with our chasing them of, is that due to their breeding or something else, this is the first I have seen of this behaviour

The females belly hasn't even been that pink, she's been in thier all day and he's been swimming round it chasing any one of who is near it, if their is eggs in their how long do they take to hatch?

KRIBENSIS females belly doesnt need to be pink or even plump for that matter .... but from laying eggs it takes 2days for them to become wrigglers, and then a further 5 days for them to become freeswimming
