Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone can offer any tips regarding my Lombardi/Kenyi (not sure what you guys refer to them as). My female had babies in my community tank a while ago, and we found 2 babies while cleaning the tank, and they didn't survive but they made it for about 2 weeks (they got sucked out from underneath the breeding boxes). I have a feeling she's pregnant again because she's got a lump under her throat that the male doesn't have, so I'd assume thats where she's keeping her eggs, and I've put her in a tank on her own. She's gone off her food too, and she doesn't look unhealthy or anything. I've put in a log to make her feel less exposed too. Can anyone offer me some hints please, because last time was disastrous. Thanks!

Maybe somebody can help me on this point. My female spat out 4 eggs this morning, and you could see the babies sorta half hanging out of the egg. Three looked dead, but one baby was squriming to get out of the egg, but she came and picked that one back up. I'm just wondering if she's incubating the babies still because they're clearly not ready (I was under the impression that they were meant to be spat out swimming, without the egg), and now her mouth looks really swollen. I'm not sure if this is normal.
