Hi All,

My wife and I got a 190 liter corner tank several months ago.
For the first month everything was fine, but since then we have been having problems with cloudy water.
We have been doing every thing our local aquatic center has told us but still can not keep it clear for more than two or three days.

We have now run out of ideas so we are now looking for more direct help.

Is there anyone living in the Peterborough area that would be willing to come round and give us some help and advice on what we are doing wrong and what we need to do.

Many Thanks

Peter

Asking for somone to come out in your 1st post is a pretty big ask, why dont you start to tell us what fish you keep, how many what filter you use, what the shop has advised and tryed and maybe we can give you a helping hand

We could do with some more info before being able to help mate unfortunatly.

As said above. What fish? what equipment? Are you dosing with any chemicals... Do you treat your water every water change.

So on.

As much info as possible.

Thanks.

Its not that much of a big ask really, i mean he might not use the internet much, or have a connection so could be making the most of someone elses kind hearted acts.

If i was a bit unsure about something i would probably ask someone to come round and see if they can help.

I mean, obviously it will get resolved on here, probably.
But its not really a big ask, everyones different big al!

Without de railing his thread or been offencive to our new member, I was talking from a safety aspect you can never to to carefull meeting people on the internet these days, I certainly would't just ask the wife to pop over and lend a hand, no offence to you iceman :good:

On a more cheerfull note he will come back and give us some info to we can help him :)

Hey if it's Peterborough New Hampshire I can understand it. I was just up in that area and they are very town oriented and do a lot of things together as local communitites.

Anyway, I suppose another start we might make would be reviewing the weekly gravel-clean-water-change habit. Sometimes I think this is an even bigger gift to beginners than the fishless cycle in terms of skills that make a huge difference in the long run!

The regularity of it (if you can discipline yourself to really do it) is a powerful help in the dirction of clear water.

~~waterdrop~~
(speaking of which, my tank is begging me to get off here and give it some attention  )
