Keeping Platys And Swordtails Together.

I own several swordtails and I was thinking about getting one maybe two platys in the same tank with them. I'm only scared that the platys, being naturally smaller will get bullied by the bigger swordtails. I've already had this problem with the younger swords being bullied by the older ones, so I want to know if anyone has had any success keeping platys and swords together...

The real problem is not them fighting each other, its the fact that they can and will hybridise each other. Then your tank would be full of hybred fry. Do you want this! if not dont get them.

The swordtails and platies in the lfs these days are already hybrids anyways. So you can add platies to your tank with swordtails.

I'm planning on keeping males and females seperated, so hybrids aren't really a problem.
