Keeping Males And Females Together

is it possible to keep a few female bettas with one male? ive read somewhere it is possible but was just wondering if anyone knows whether this is true or if anyone has had experience with this.

Of course its possible. They're not magnets that repel each other. They'll just snap at each other until someone ends up dead or injured.

...Or if you're particularly unlucky, breed then kill each other, leaving you with all the darling babies to raise etc. and kill each other later on.

Like Wisperian said, they can be kept together, but whether they survive is another matter!
