Can you keep Guppies in a community tank along with the likes of Danios, Tetras, 1 Angelfish and Gouramis. I mean will they be ok as I dont want to be over-run by their numbers if I have like 3 or 4 but they keep dropping fry.
Well i think i must be an exception when it comes to this i've got 6 danio's and 9 guppy's in my community and have never had any problems with fin nipping zebra danio's are more prone to be fin nippers but i've never had any problems
When it comes to tetra and angels i have no idea never kept them hopefully someone can help ya out better
angels will more than likely pick on the guppies, just dont keep them with zebra danios its a bad conbination, it works for some, but not others theres no guarantee, but i wouldnt.
I've kept them with danio's in the past with no hassle. as long as their is enough space for them all.
The angel will be the problem, but while their small it's ok. However an adult angel is more than capable of eating small guppies and trying to eat larger ones.
Over the years I have kept guppies with almost any fish that were not too aggressive and were under about 4 inches. Your typical community of small fish is a great place to keep guppies as long as you don't put them with endlers. Endlers are too closely related and you will no longer have pure guppies or pure endlers when they are kept together.
