Keeping Females

I need advice on keeping female bettas.

Not necessarily true, you can keep a sorority of females together in a large tank but you can't do that with males

it doesn't say a single or group of female, so asking the size of the tank was the question i really needed to ask to determin this

you can keep a group of females together in harmony really althoguh if they are like mine they will decide who is boss but they will be fine after that!!

but you can not keep males together

I have a 60 litre tank. not sure which one.

I have a male fighter, 2 catfish and 2 plecs, 4 danios.
Are they acceptable tankmates?

you can't keep females with males, it just doesn't really work. The male will either kill the females or they will gang up on him and kill him....so much for girl power!!

what catfish are they?

Cant see plecs or danios being a problem tho, can't really see the catfish being a problem either.

if they have shown no aggression to one another they should be fine together

plus none of them are fin nippers

but you really cant put girls with a male they will fight!

plecs and catfish sound good, but i wouldn't have both in a 60l, id have 1 plec or 4 cory danios may be a problem as they can get nippy
