Keeping customers informed

Wish I had some post it's on my trip to WM today. They had figure 8 (i think) puffers in freshwater. They may have been a different kind that was freshwater but it wouldn't matter much. The only information that was on the tank was puffer $4.95. When I told them that they need more info and that those puffers were brackish they said which one's that. They didn't even know what a puffer was. It gets worse. You know how WM has there tanks running on one filter. When I told the woman they were brackish and needed a good bit of salt she said ok well put some salt in there. talk about out of the pot and into the fire. As she was reaching for the salt I said NO that is not what I wanted. The other fish will not like that much salt at all. If you are going to keep the puffers in freshwater until they are sold atleast put a sign on there saying they are brackish fish and are not suitable for a community. She said ok and I left. I sure hope they don't turn all there tanks brackish because of me. was this the right thing to do? I was kinda lost as to what to do as I am not a puffer nor brackish expert.
