i fear my plant is dying since i have a powerhead which spurts water out and keeps a good constant flow of oxygen for the lil fishies.

only problem is i have an anubias plant in my tank and i think its starting to go brown around some of the leaves! how do you keep enough oxygen for the fish and enough carbon dioxide for the plants? I was told for only one plant i didnt need to add carbon dioxide pellets, i really dont want to add them since i heard they mess up the pH (which is at a really nice 7 atm).

am i just imagining this or may i have a problem? :dunno:

thanks :)

This is probably best asked over in the planted section
However, I don't use any bubble makers at all and my fish have always been fine. In fact, having extra spray bars or bubble makers will just expel most of the CO2 in the tank and that's not good for plants

thanks will do, sorry :*)

how do you get oxygen into the tank then?

i had it agitating the surface of the water and my fish almost died when i put them in!! so i made it blow lots of bubbles and they got back to normal.
