I am thinking of adding some Rams to my current setup. I think I should be okay with the water params, but how about my current fish?

-90 gallons, temp 76°F, pH 6.6
-Platties, danios, rosey barb, SAE's, oto's, black neon tetras.

The tank is heavily planted with tons of hiding spaces.

Are there any 'golden rules' when it comes to rams? Things someone who has never kept them before should know

From my own experience:

Adhere rigidly to weekly water changes. - They're very sensitive to water quality

Be very careful not to stress them out (ie by moving stuff around in the tank too much while they're in there. I actually had a female die on me because of this).

They have a life span of approximately one year, so be prepared to restock in 6 months.

Great fish, wonderful personality, very delicate though. Good luck!

I have to do weekly 50% w/c as it is with the EI, so that's no problem. I think I am going to change my aquascape around, so I might hold off getting them until I get that sorted out.
