Sorry if this is the wrong forum, as none of my fish are hurt, but I think my bacteria might be in a bit of trouble... I moved some of my cycled filter media into my newly set up aquarium; however, unfortunately and unexpectedly I won't be getting any fish for a few more days, so how do I "feed" the bacteria. I put a some blood worms into the aquarium, but is that enough? Thanks for any help!

Either put the media back, put the new filter on the existing tank, or add some ammonia to the empty tank.

I can't put it back, because it was those little white beads and I mixed them with the new ones. Does anyone know the best place to get ammonia?

Yeah, but they're all female swords and my new fish are going to be male swords, which I won't to keep seperate so that they don't start breeding.

put a few of them in for now, you can transfer them just before you get your others. A tiny bit of NH3 is better than none.
