Keeping A Betta A Room Temp

I kept my male pk at room temperature for about a week when i had to seperate him, he was sold to me as a girl. He was fine while he waited for his heater to turn up, ate happily, was even blowing bubble nests lol. Just get a thermometer and monitor the water temp, i found if mine got a little bit to cold i would add slightly warmer water very slowly until the temp came back up. It's definately not an ideal way to keep them but there should be no problem while you wait for your heater. Good luck
