please can someone give me some info I am setting up a juwel rio 400 litre tank (88 U.K Gals) I have removed the internal filter and replaced it with an Eheim 2028 Professional ll External Filter I have a JUWEL 300 WATT heater and I would like to know if you think this heater would be powerful enough for 400 litres The tank size its self is 5 feet x 2 feet x 2 feet and what would be the best temp to keep the tank at for angels, mollys, and a 9" gold plex.

thanks for any help you can give

did the Juwel 300W come with the rio 400? was it built into the internal filter that came with the tank?

if it was then i guess its safe to assume its sufficient. :kana:

a good temp range is between 24-26 degrees celcius

I have a Juwel 400 and I did wonder whether the heater was suitable, however I did also use an undergravel heater cable for plant roots.

I think it must be suitable considering it has come with the complete setup and this is a very popular make.
