Please help i have a rio 180 and want to plant it can i do this with gravel i have attached java moss to my bog wood but i want to plant the floor with some kind of grass can anybody help with lighting and maybe a co2 kit ect

How about getting some Java Moss or some Pygmy Chain Sword? They're both really easy to grow and make beautiful foreground plants.

thanks for that i have some java moss that i planted last night i really want to go for a river bead look as much as possible and wanted to use gravel will this grown under a standard t8 light unit.

It should grow with T8 lighting, yes. It won't be as fast but it will be still good growth forming a nice carpet on the base of your tank.

That all depends what plants you're talking about. All plants are different ad need to be planted and pruned accordingly.
