Juwel Rio 180

I have recently acquired a Rio 180 which is beautiful and now setup with 11 L134 Plecs in there all snug as bugs in a rug, and curios.... as they are 99% of the time at the bottom of the tank I obviously have some scope for a bit of mid level to top fishy's.


Now before everyone shouts at me this is why i posted this.....

What do you guys think to two discus in there? As i know they are easily spooked etc and with having such timid bottom dwellers i would love the oppourtunity to keep two sets of amazing fish!

2 discus in any tank is a bad idea unless they are proven breeders.

+1 above, also discus benefit from larger tanks.

yeahhhhhh well like i said, it was a thought, I asked the guys at chilton a while back, they said even a breeding pair in a 90l would be worth a go thats all.

Oh well guess ill leave it then

What about a school of hatchetfish? They should not interfere at all with the plecos as they're surface fish and will give the tank some more activity in the upper levels.

Meh thanks anyways lol only discuss or just all the l134's by themselves wanted it to be a real dream tank but its cool thanks for your help anyways.
