I love mine. Its in my sig matey :good:

I have a Juwel Rio 180. Very good tank, however i'd either add an external filter to what they already provide because its a little on the poor side for filtration. The lighting i bought mine when they came with T8's and they were naff for plants, however now they come standard with Juwel High-Light T5's so i can't comment on these as i havnt used them.

Heres my tank when i had it, roughly sometime in 2005/06

Upon searching my photobucket + computer it appears this is the most recent full tank shot i have - Hah! i best get taking some new ones! Overall though i would say my Rio 180 has served me well. I've had it 5 years and i removed my internal from the tank about 2 years ago and went with an external Fluval 305 - its been better. I had a problem with a company going bust who had my standard light unit currently sent off which they couldnt get back due to the other companies not wanting to do any further business with a bust company. So they gave me an Arcadia 3ft T8 light unit free in exchange, thats been worse than the standard lights i had. The tank has done well, it's currently still going although in the next month or so it'll be taken down to be used as a breeding tank hidden away somewhere and my new show tank will be delivered.

Juwel = Thumbs up :)

aw wow!! that looks really nice!! im thinking of getting a small group of angles for my tank, and maybe a gold gouriami or two. then im going to stock it around them. not sure if i should go with an "island" theme or more a sides and back one though!! Is it easy to clean and maintain etc??

Depends on how you run your tank. If you stock heavy and plant little it'll be a pain to clean. However flip it around and stock lightly and have lots of plants it'll in theory be easier to clean. My advice, stock moderatly to light and plant heavier. Up to you whether to go for an island theme or two sides, or whatever you like.

well, i think ill be planting it moderatly in a island theme, and have only a few centre piece fish. 3-4 angels, a couple of gold gouriami's and maybe a few barbs/tetras but not sure yet!! :) also a plec and a few cory's. looking forward to getting it some time this week, get it up and running next weekend for a good old fishless cycle.
