Hi all

I have a second hand juwel tank which must of had the lights changed at some point to a cheaper bulb as they are not the juwel high lite bulbs i want to change them over to give my tank better light.

My question is shall i get the combo of the day light and nature or would it be better to get the day light and colour? colour bulb is meant to enhance the colours of red and blue i do have some red and blue fish electric blue ram dwarf guarmie red etc but what is the better combo.

Also has anyone used the juwel reflectors you can get there cheapish and are meant to give you 100% better light just wanted someones knowledge on these.

thanks

Whichever colour you prefer to be honest. I'd personally just get 2 daylights, but that's just me.

I'd also hang fire on the reflectors. It's by no means a 100% increase, but you may well have plenty of light there already without adding more, and too much light is a good cause for algae.

Hi DrRob not sure really just wanted the best light possible and as you say without an algae growth didnt know which would be best just want my tank nice and bright and to show the colours of my fishies :)

I was trying to find which were better for mine ages ago and remember seeing this which may help : -
