first of all i would like to apologise if this has already been posted , i am fairly new to keeping fish i have recently purchased (5months ago approx) a juwel rio 180 with the compact filter system i have just been in my local pet store and have seen this product i actually purchased but on getting home and checking on the internet cant find that much information on it what i am looking for is help and advice on a couple o issues the first being is it worth using and the 2nd question is where exactly in the filter does it go which sponge do i have to remove to put it in

its a new product from juwel it is a mechanical filter media and does the same job as ceramic rings/tubes

from what i can see in the latest juwel brochure it goes....................................




White (fine filter floss)
Black (carbon)
Green
Blue
