anyone use anything other than silicone to stick these to your tank?

No, just the silicone - but it does a good job and holds it in place nicely.
Wish I had done a better job cutting it to fit the tank though,
left one edge with a gap and part of the top shows below thewater level.
Next time I'll know better - but would hapily use silicone again.

Use seletape.

The silcone stuff apparntly never comes off

they go inside the tank!

silicone can be got off with a blade

i'm sure i saw someone using some sort of clips. I can't remember who it was, it was someone who had a trigon and was gonna turn it into a cave looking tank.





or was i dreaming.

I've never seen them, or had any expirence with them, but it seems like you could glue a magnet on the back of the background, and have one on the outside of the tank...
Not sure if it will work, but it sounds logical to me!

they do look good in a tank, i would have to put it the tank. Theres a new one on the market that looks like a tree root.
