Juwel 180 Light Unit

Any idea if the light unit is serviceable ?? cant see how the hell you get inside it to change starters etc

there are 2 types of lighting one is magnetic and the other is,, errmmm balast .. i think, one can be repaired ( that little white starter.. the other isnt so easy ( i found this out when i had a prob with one of my own ligh units ( tho not on a juwel)

post in the DIY AND HARDWARE section.. theres bound to be someone over there that can help...

good luck and i hope you dont have to end up changing the whole unit ( they are readily availible which makes me suspiscous tho )

you shouldnt open the juwel light units if theyre still in warranty (24 months)

if you have T5s your on an electronically controlled ballast.
on T8s you have the normal starter

if it is still in warranty and doesnt work, take it back

Not still under warranty so prob not easy to fix its the one with twin standard size bulbs...not sure if t5 or 8. thanx for the replies so far guys
