Just wondering why angel fish need such a big tank but bettas dont thanks.
Angels are actually quite peaceful. I have 4 in my 75 gallon tank (almost 3 years now) with corys, tetras, SAEs and a pleco and they never bother any of them. They do pick at each other from time to time (usually the females picking at each other) but never anything that causes any harm. They only time they have ever been the least bit aggressive toward the other fish is when they have spawned and that's only toward the pleco who eats the eggs as fast as they can lay them (I don't have the time or space to try to raise fry) and he's big enough that they aren't going to hurt him.Angelfish are aggressive as well therefore, need a large tank. Bettas are much smaller then angelfish so they don’t need a very large tank.
