Just wanted to say hello from a newbie here and especially thanks to the info you guys & gals provide on TFF.
I've just recently been given a small tank and since I'd successfully kept one about 20 years ago, thought I'd just set it up & run it for a week empty with some plants and then stock it. I'm so glad I found your forums and the info on fishless cycling a new tank, before I stocked mine
So now I've got to track down some ammonia, get my test kits and wait a while longer. That's cool with me and hopefully will lead to a smoother re-introduction back into the tropical fish world...
