If and when I move, I pretty much have the process down. I am going to upgrade to EcoComplete substrate, as I now just have gravel. So, as I understand it, with this substrate, you can just add water and be ready to go (will be saving 10 to 20 gallons of my tank water, topping it off with RO water and saving my filter media soaked in some of the water. Flourite would be messy, as I understand it. So, I'll go with the eco and not have to worry about anything. Correct? Sorry for the revisted issue, but someone's recent post reminded me of it...

You dont have to wash it as it comes seeded with beneficial bacteria.
