Ben

you know what Ben
I think you maybe correct.
I have a feeling I've been sold the wrong thing :grr:

We have one of those lurking in a fancy goldfish tank at work, it isn't marked up for sale though. It's deffinately a temperate loach, possibly a speckled loach or something.

Ben

Blends in well with his surroundings anyway.

but is know as Sekavec makahamský in the Czech republic

You do realise that hiding eastern European warlords in your tanks breaks the Geneva convention rules dont you Wolf?

Hmm you're on form this week CFC ;)

found it in Baensch Aquarium Atlas Volume 4 (pg157). Its a Kottelatlimia pristes. Max size of about 5cm, shy and peacful.

Ben

what do you know, it looks like a horse with a fish body. One could dub it a "horsh" or a "forshe" or something. i dunno... Horsh, it kindof rolls off the tounge doesn't it? :fun:

Hmm
Interesting Ben
thanks

according to someone on the laoch forum
my fish is missing an adospi (sp) fin thus it is not a
Kottelatlimia pristes but is definately a Acanthopsoides molobrion
