After looking for ammonia I went to my LSC and they gave me a product called START-OK by NTlabs.
The kit contains Aquasure (water conditioner), A bottle Nitrocycle, Filter bugs and a Nitrite test kit.

I have a 180l tank and the instructions say I need 20 drops of Nitrocycle to every 10 litres of water in the tank which i worked out as being 360 drops in my 180l and 2 drops of filter bugs to every 10 litres which worked out to be 36 drops.

My problem is, The bottle of Nitrocycle only held 180 drops which put in (obviously, that's how i knew there was 180 drops) which is half of what i worked out i needed so i put in half of the filter bugs.
Would this be alright or do i need to find some more Nitrocycle? Obviously i will be testing everyday (probably twice a day as i'm now a little paranoid).

Any help would be great.

START-OK doesn't contain Ammonia, you can buy a bottle of Ammonia in Boots for about £1.75.

Those products are basically useless. You have to have an ammonia source to cycle. I still doubt that any of those cycling aid products contain any bacteria at all. The certainly won't hurt but most likely won't help. But you will definitely will have to have an ammonia source. If you can't find bottled ammonia, you can use fish flakes but it is a lot harder to figure out how much to use.
