my poor molested Paradise Fish hanging around in "his" corner (which just so happens to be right above the krib's cave, so that's been a bunch of fun lately. )

and this would be why Mr. Krib has been upset over the Paradise Fish moving into that corner.

the dwarf platy in the middle there is Mr. Ambitious, who would greatly like to be "special friends" with Paradise Fish.

as you can see from this picture, the difference between dwarf guppies and platies is that platies hold still long enough for the camera to focus.

not that i don't appreciate it, 'cause i do, but it cracks me up to be receiving all the paradise compliments! i've been complaining all week about how torn up his fins look thanks to him fighting with mr. krib. i feel much better, guys; thanks! (i've always thought the paradise fish has been insufficiently praised for its beauty...)
