Just Saying Hi To Introduce Myself

Hi everyone!
 
How did I get here??  Well .... I came home a few weeks ago to find a little fishbowl on my coffee table and a blue betta swimming around and flaring up at me! Since my original annoyance at an unannounced pet that was very shortly likely to become my responsibility to look after 

   .. I have become 'somewhat attached' to the little guy!

His name is Pepe and he's so smart!!!   I love how he comes to say hello, plays chasey games and swims in time to his fave music! omg .. have never seen a fish do that before! lolol
 
He's been upgraded to a much bigger bowl (tank coming soon) but had become lethargic. So after an internet search (that led me here), fungal infection treatment and a heatpad under his bowl ... he's looking a lot happier now!

Welcome to the forum! Don't forget to carry out regular water changes! Bowls need them!

I would get a tank asap. Would look at a 10gal.

Is there a heater and filter? Both needed to keep a betta.

Fungas tends to show itself on the fishes body.
