Just Rescaped And Changed To Sand...

as title says really..... spent most of yesterday changing my gravel to sand and rescaping the tank to make more room.

Looks really nice and natural Matt, nice to see a blue background, don't like those printed ones, I had one with giant shrimps on it(?), pebbles on the sand looks good, and the discus, well I can only dream....

it is a printed background..... but a good one with no printed fish etc! this is the only thing i didnt change

no lol yeah but i will never do it again after 2 tanks

Looks very nice! I've also switched to sand, I do love how it brightens the tank up with good lighting, not to mention that bottom feeders seem to like it more.

Shame it takes some extra effort to clean though.

after a while you will think its easier than gravel, certainly less stressfull for the fish as the waste just gets sucked up instead of having to rumage through the gravel etc.
it does look dirtier quicker though as everything sits on top.....!
