I dont think im ready for gymogeophagus balzani, i think its becuase of the temperature change and the lack of tankmates you can have,

im still thinking it over, but my backup plan is to go for some red port acaras.
Any info on those ^ would be nice,

That's fair enough. I think to get a fish like the balzani you need to really, really specifically want them. It's a lot of effort and commitment to give them the right environment.
You can put them on your "things maybe to get in the future" list.

yeh there definiatly on my "future list" like discus,severums,and nics, lol anyone else have any good info on port acaras>?
