feed them after 24 hours ,

Biokid101 Be careful when feeding crushed flakes if the fry are in a breeders net feed as little as possible and onley feed 2 0r 3 times a day and remove any uneating food it can easy pollute the water in the net.

If your fry are showing an egg sac, they are slightly premature so they will not really need food until that egg sac is gone. Usually I feed newborn fry at about 3 or 4 times each day but as Fish48 said, it is easy to overfeed, especially in one of those darned nets that I hate. The problem with using one with fry in it is that it means you are working with very small amounts of water. If you do anything at all that is not perfect, the small water amount will make the error far more impacting to the fry. I usually keep a fry drop alone in a 10 gallons, 38 litres, tank so that I do not need to worry quite as much about water quality issues sneaking up on me. Instead, I get to focus on feeding enough for good growth and doing water changes carefully to encourage good fry growth.

I ran into issues, like fish48 talks about, my net would get so polluted because of the ammount of left over decomposed food that I crushed up, polluted it so much I once lost half a batch from one fry.

well the only adult female guppy i had that actually chased the fry looks like its about to die so i think that i can try to put them back in slowly and see what happens cause i dont like the sound of what will happen..i raised some fry in the net before tho,but i did lose alot of fry :/

Yea this month I am turning my empty 10 gallon into ether a dwarfchildcid tank or a fry tank, I think fry tank because Net rasing fry doesn't work for me very well.

starting to take the babies out 1 each day and the 2 females are getting used to em! i have 13 in the net and 13 in the net i expect them to be all in the tank by this weekend!the females r ignoring them i never saw this before its amazing!!

keep the females well feed and put in some plants for the fry to hide and the adults will get used to little baby fish swimming about with them

when they drop the next lot of fry they will not eat all of them they will leave a good few alone.
new born guppy's will struggle to get away from adults.
After 24 hours the fry are strong enough to get away and hide.

if the adults are kept well fed they rearly eat there fry.

yea i just put crushed flakes into the tank with the females in there too and they eat as well..the one i raised has a hugeee stomach but its not pregnant it just pics at algae and everything it cud find(except the baby fish thank god)i just decided to let em all go in the tank freely and they dont even pay attention to the fry which is a good relief! 1 of the females looks to be pregnant again but its only been 2 weeks so it might come later on.but i will probably find the ones that r newborn and take em into the breeders net so they dont get sucked up into the filter..i have plants in there in one corner of the tank and some floating around so maybe 6 or 7 out of 26 swim around outside the plants..some have color? i didnt know guppy fry had colors when born?

You don't want to see my big tank at the minute... It has so many baby guppies in and the adults just leave them be.

Cheers,
Alessa!

Edit:
It's blurry but it gives you an idea of what my guppies do in my 15 gallon hexagon tank.

aww lol im surprised with my tank i had over 80 fry in my whole breeding experience and its been a year and i rasied only 1 fully
?? lol ill get better at it im glad im not overstocked tho haha :)

Well I've just got a Bumblebee goby which are predatory so I've put the 2 smallest fry I can find in the 15 gallon into it's 6 gallon tank and he actually caught one right in front of me earlier! It was a surprise because one minute it's just the baby guppy swimming about then he suddenly pops up and eats it. The pregnant female swordtail is in his tank till she gives birth then I'll catch a few of the babies to put in the 15 gallon and raise, but the rest will stay with him for him to eat.

Cheers,
Alessa!
