Paid 45 bucks for a TRUVU acrylic tank. Saw the tank retailed for 300+ when new for the same demensions. Holds water fine. Was really dirty when i picked it up but now after cleaning it doesn't look half bad. Don't know what i'm going to do with it yet. The length is 36inches width is a hair over 20 and height is 19inches holds about 46.3 gals they sell them as a 50gal. Came with a piece of a black wood cut to fit the bottom of the tank to distribute weight and a metal bookshelf to sit it on. Might swap the bookshelf out for a wood cabinet. Always happy to save a decent tank from the dump will add pictures later. If anyone has this brand of tank setup please link me to your tank I want to see ideas for them

Not a bad tank, especially id it cleaned up well. Looking forward to hearing you plans for it. :)

It's been cleaned well, going to see what i can get for a filters at petco and walmart. if i don't like what i see i'm going to get a fluval online. Pictures will be uploaded soon guys ^^ So far i'm moving my rainbow shark, rasboras, and corydoras in. might get another school to go with and call it good. My Gouramis i had in another tank are going to get donated to a LFS cause I don't think it's going to work the male is so aggressive towards the females.

Oh and the fluro hood isn't powering on. So i'm gonna toss it cause it got corroded and geta nice led overhang light.

Here's pictures of the access holes in the top, and one of the tank itself. I know i can run a canister with it but can you run a plain old intank filter or hang on filter with it?

Got the tank up today, started it with 15gallons of cycled water and 25 of treated water with tetra safe start and api stresscoat. I just transferred over the majority of my 20g setup. 9 harlequin rasboras, 7 corys, a rainbow shark

Oh I used a fluval ecobright led lighting system its like 30 something leds has blue for night and a white/blue mix for daylight replicating. the filter is a 50gallon fluval clearview filter. Heater is a 250watt adjustable tetra 60g rated heater. used small smooth natural river gravel.

It looks lovely but just wanted to warn you that the water contains none of the bacteria. Did you transfer some of the media over from your other tank?

Yeah i used some media and there's all live plants plus the tss bateria. Used the whole bottle as it recommended for a new tank and It's shown good results before. took the gourami i had out and donated him for an angelfish they gave me a cool golden marble angelfish for him he's a juvenile so he shouldn't be a problem for the rasboras. what else should i add to the tank its 36x16x16 so 40gal.
9x harlequin rasbora
1x golden marble angelfish
1x rainbow shark
7x corydoras
