so i have a 10 gallon tank with dwarf hair grass. green crypts and christmas and up until today ive been using diy co2 with a small airstone as diffusion. i was afraid i might have been over gasing the tank, however all the fish are very happy and i have delicate fish. but just to be safe i went out and got a fluval 20 diffuser. the weird water chamber one. after setting it up i noticed it wasnt bubbling and i thought that was odd so then i did some more research and read that it is apparently a passive diffuser which doesnt prodoce bubbles like normal diffusers and basically just dissolves co2 into the water column.

i also read that it isnt a very effecient way ot diffusing co2???

so i need advice on what to do. is the one i have now going to work with what i have now? or should i just go out and get a normal ceramic disk diffuser???

really need help on this guys!!!!

ps i have 58 watts and weekly flourish dosing as well

I'm not sure on the diffuser I have't used it. But you could get a drop checker that will monitor your Co2 if your worried about it being too much.

I use this diffuser and it works fine for me. I would have thought it would get 100% diffusion, due to there being no bubbles, which often don't dissolve fully.
