Hi Guys,

This is my first post. Just wanted some opinions/suggestions on what fish to put in my new cycled tank. I was thinking on:

6 Corys
2 Angelfish

And would like some suggestions for some more.

Thanks for your help.

After keeping angels before, I would not keep them in any tank under 4*2*2 ft in size and would ideally want a larger tank.

For a 61 x 41 x 58 cm tank, I would go for..
* 6-8 Corys (or more if I decided on dwarf or pygmy)
* 10 smaller mid-water schoolers (neon-sized, ideally)
* pair of dwarf cichlids (Apistogramma, for example)
(* maybe 6 small hatchetfish, once you have some more experience)

I really like the lido 120's, very nice tanks. I don't think Angels would be suitable for one though as KK said. A school of Neon Tetra's, Rummynose Tetra'sor Harlequin Rasbora's would be a brilliant option. And a very striking one too!! A pair of Apisto's or Bolivian Rams would work well i reckon. :)

I'd pass on the Bolivian rams too, I've seen them grow to 6", so I don't think they'll have turning room in a 2 ft tank.

If you are looking for more numbers: Trigonostigma espei and corydoras habrosus would enable you to up your numbers a little (maybe 12 of each).

Both excellent choices, for a tank that size.
