Do you have a glass or acrylic tank?

Either way there's not much chance of doing serious damage to the tank unless you grind some of the sand into the sides.

Yes i got it in all my tanks and no it dont scratch your tank..

Make sure keep cleaning it until the yellow throth has gone and the water runs clear :)

You will not regret buying this sand

I dunno, he may regret it half way through the washing, I know I did.

Took me about 5 mins to rinse and didnt colour the water atall? Strange.

Rinsing a 100 pounds of sand takes a while and is miserable to do in a Florida summer. I dunno, maybe this stuff is incredible and has almost no excess fines in it but it took a ton of stirring and rinsing to get my water to run clear.

safe without doubt, and good for plants too!

does anyone know how much of this sand i will need for my tank ?
the size is 121 51 55
i have only reserved one bag is that enough?

I doubt you'll need to reserve it, they normally have loads.

And assuming the dimensions above are cm then I'd get two to be on the safe side, though you might get away with just one.

anyone got any pictures of it in the tank?

Can't decide if i want to go down the cheap route with this or some nice black sand

Here's my tank.

Don't have my best shots of the sand on my stick drive at work.

If I'd had a $100 bucks for 100lbs of black sand I'd have gone with that, but I barely had enough for the $7 for the play sand.
