Microsorum pteropus

I also have loads of straight vallis (Vallisneria americana) and amason swords (Echinodorus paniculatus) at the back.

It's a 63 litre, 17ish US gal tank, filtered with a fluval 2 internal filter, 50 watt heater. I'm trying with a home made CO2 system at the moment, but isn't making much at the moment, need to get the mix right again. Had the level up to about 15ppm. There's a single florescent tube in the hood. Haven't looked to see what the wattage is, probably only 18 watts i would think. Well 1 watt per gallon isn't too bad i guess.

Anyhoo, see what you think. Any comments are very welcome.

Love the Bacopa Coriniana, mite have to track some down for my tank.

If your local lfs stocks Tropica, then you might be in luck. I tend to find garden centres have a bigger selection of plants than most other lfs's in my area.

Looks not too bad, I thought you said loads of plants though ;)

I have 200 plants sitting in buckets atm, just waiting for the weekend lol, thats loads :D

Well for a 60 litre tank it's loads. When the bacopa grows it should cover the back of the tank. I may not see my fish for some time then! :D

I've found that when it comes to plants you really get what you pay for. I got 3 Tropica plants as my first plants from my LFS for £9, which i know is expensive, but all are alive and doing great!
Later i got some plants from another LFS for £5 for 6 plants, I only have 2 of these left now after they went yellow and died.

Will defo look for Tropica again.

The bacopa is growing really well actually, probably a good quarter to half an inches growth in this week alone!
