you have plenty of space so two pairs of german rams should be fine, they may even swim together as one group.

so there wont be any conflicts between the 2 pairs then?

or is that just hopefull that they will be fine?

Plenty of room for territories, so no aggression problems, as with all cichlids ensure plenty of different areas so each can claim their part and all will be fine.

thanks for that,i will go and get them soon then

i presume, wanting a pair of bolivians too is out of the question, lol

Not IMO, two boliv's will also be fine with 2 pairs of GBR's. I used to have 2 bolivs and 3 GBR in a 55g without any problems at all, so in a 100+g tank, no worries IMO.

Just be aware of how sensitive the german blues are, keep up with the water changes to keep nitrAtes low and acclimatise them slowly and you should be fine. Temp around 26c - 28c preferred.

Sorry to jump in on this one but will either GBR's or Boliv's behave themselves with a pair of Dwarf or Honey Gourami? Also with Platies and Cory's?

Either will be fine with any gourami, platies and usually ok with corydoras too.

should be fine provided they have enough space, i.e. you have a 20G+
