how much are they in british pounds.
do they need alot of care.
do you buy them as a seed or already grown
thanks

C02 is optional !

Need a nice nutricious base substrate ie laterite under the gravel or root tabs and some fertilizers added !

But over all Good lighting more than 1 watt per gallon !

Sorry I cant elaborate lol ! But Im still learning with live plants too !

You buy them already grown !

and there is some awesome websites google www.java-plants.com

There really cheap and apparently really good ill be ordering from there very soon :D

I probably havent helped at all lol !

But a more knowlegable person will come along sometime soon :D

Not a lot this list is of easy plants that dont need any special care.

Foreground

java moss
Christmas moss
Willow moss
Marsilea quadrifolia
Hemianthus micranthemoides (can grow towards the light or behave and stay a lovely little bush). Mine behave.
Hemianthus callitrichoides (same as HM)
Small cryptocorynes (parva, lutea, lucens, etc)
Anubia petite nana

Midground (lots more options)

Mid-sized crypts (wendtii, others, excellent plant)
Barclaya longifolia (can get big, can also behave)
Nymphaea species (must be taught to behave, otherwise a background plant)
Anubias (barterii, coffeefolia, barterii var nana, others)
Anubia gracilis (does better emersed rather than submerged)
Java fern
Bolbitis heudelotii (when small a midground)

Background plants (many options)

Most hygrophile species
rotala rotundifolia
Egeria densa
Egeria najas
Limnophila sessilifolia and indica and aquatica
Hydrocotyle leucocephala (Brazilian pennywort)
Nymphaea species
Amazon swords
Bacopa species
Bolbitis heudlotii (when full grown, a very slow grower)
Alternantera reineckii (striking plant, can do low-light with CO2)
Vallisneria (americana, asiatica, spiralis)
Some Sagittaria species

how much are they in british pounds.
A round a few quid each, but you can buy bulk lots of plants that makes things cheaper, but you have no control over what you get.
