Just A Flying Visit To Say, I Have Finally Got.....

Hammy what fish do you have now? I thought about you when I dropped off the Rotkeils at a place I am not allowed to mention there was a right tank thumping midas it was gorgous.

STar, one tank is based on a breeding pair of G.steindachneri (well I'm hoping they will breed). The male I have had for a while and he is the most stunning steinie I have ever seen ! I bought a couple of wild caught females from Ross at oddball express and my male has very much paired up with the larger female. They are now inseperable, and the female is getting very plump and gravid, so it's only a matter of time.

My 5x2x2 is now based around Mr Jeeves, who is becoming a beatiful big old fat severum, and Flower, my little V.bifasciatus/synspilum (yet to be confirmed !) who I bought at 1", and 2 months later is now about 3.5". In terms of cichlids I also have an angelfish, and another female steinie in there, as well as a plec and a few tetras/platies, but I don't like my tanks to be hightly stocked , so that's enough for me.
I am very happy with them all !!
